1. Service description
Vocabula is an independent online platform that provides English and French language learning content focused on Canadian immigration, work, and integration.
2. Independent preparation disclaimer
Vocabula is an independent preparation platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CELPIP, Paragon Testing Enterprises, TCF, TEF, or France Éducation International. Use of these names is descriptive only.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account.
4. User conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Offer immigration consultancy services through the platform unless you are a licensed RCIC
- Post content advertising guaranteed visa, work permit, or LMIA services
- Share personal documents (passport, CPF, etc) of yourself or others
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content
- Reverse engineer or attempt to bypass paywalls
- Use automated tools (bots) to interact with the platform
- Post spam, harassment, hate speech, or misinformation
5. Subscriptions and payments
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until end of billing cycle. No refunds for partial months. Price changes notified by email 30 days in advance.
6. Content ownership
- Platform content (lessons, activities, audio): Vocabula or licensed third parties. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal study only.
- Teacher-generated content: Teachers retain ownership; grant Vocabula a non-exclusive worldwide license to host, display, and distribute on the platform.
- Comments and community posts: You grant Vocabula a non-exclusive license to display and moderate.
7. Limitation of liability
Vocabula provides educational content only. We do not guarantee exam scores, immigration outcomes, or job placement. Always consult a licensed RCIC for immigration decisions.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via account settings.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of São Paulo, SP, Brazil. For consumers in Quebec, applicable provisions of Quebec consumer protection law apply.
10. Quebec users
A French-language version of these Terms (FR-CA) will be available before any active marketing in Quebec, in compliance with the Charter of the French Language (Bill 96).
